About the Role

An experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (7–10+ years) who thrives in fast-paced, Agile environments. You have a passion for automation, clean infrastructure, and secure, scalable systems. You’re motivated by technical excellence, problem solving, and building infrastructure that performs flawlessly under pressure. You’ll play a critical role in designing, improving, and maintaining the backbone of our trading platform as we prepare for launch

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design and Maintenance
• Design, improve, and maintain secure, high-performance infrastructure to power APIs, web applications, and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate closely with developers to bring new products and services into production.

• Automation and Monitoring
• Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring throughout the development lifecycle using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Continuously refine operational processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and availability.
• Implement observability with New Relic, DataDog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry to ensure proactive system performance insights.

• Security and Compliance
• Implement and maintain infrastructure that meets SOC 2/ISO27001 and other security standards.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure consistent configurations and compliance.

• Reliability and Support
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain reliability and performance of production systems, including some nights and weekends.
• Support internal builds and provide developer infrastructure assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional DevOps experience supporting production infrastructure in cloud-based, microservice environments.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch, S3).
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Python, and Bash.
• Deep understanding of systems, networking, and containerized workload troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with release automation, CI/CD, and system debugging.
• Proficiency in GitHub and version control best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting AI or ML systems.
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines or data warehouse tools such as Databricks.
• Background in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub Copilot.
