  • Troubleshoot production incidents and participate in blameless post-mortems
  • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance with minimal service impact
  • Create and maintain operational runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Partner with platform, security, and QA teams to maintain compliance, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 platform availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams across multiple continents

What You Bring

  • 4–6 years of experience operating production-grade Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible/SaltStack, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows (GitLab)
  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python for automation
  • Working knowledge of VMware virtualization, Promox, MSSQL, and MariaDB administration
  • Strong understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and cloud/on-premises infrastructure

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS environments
  • Basic understanding of web application servers (Apache, WildFly, Tomcat) and SQL
  • Experience with caching technologies, load balancing concepts, and logging systems
  • Curiosity, independence, and a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally

Why Eventim

  • Opportunity to build and operate systems that support global, time-critical events—including the LA28 Olympic Games.
  • Real ownership, real impact, and the ability to shape the reliability posture of a platform used by millions of fans worldwide.
