HIRING: Principal DevOps Engineer | Remote | Permanent
Position: Principal DevOps Engineer
Industry: Financial Services
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £125,000 + bonus + benefits
About the role:
In this role, you’ll lead and mentor a DevOps team, deliver CI/CD and tooling expertise, design reusable and secure pipelines, support large-scale cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and drive continuous improvement through the adoption of emerging technologies.
Required experience:
- 8+ years in CI/CD design, DevOps practices, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep expertise in version control (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools
- Familiar with monitoring tooling such as Elastic or Splunk.
- Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented with cross-platform experience (Linux, Windows)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
