Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure / Github Actions / Terraform)

Sr. DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and integrate with deployment workflows
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support environment buildouts for new initiatives
• Implement version control, artifact management, and rollback strategies
• Integrate DR automation into CI/CD pipelines and support environment recovery workflows
• Ensure pipeline security, RBAC enforcement, and compliance with internal policies
• Monitor pipeline performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Document CI/CD processes and contribute to the DevOps playbook

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD engineering roles
• Expertise in GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and pipeline-as-code practices
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments including Azure and AWS
• Familiarity with Rubrik, Azure Blob Storage, and backup/restore automation
• Understanding of RBAC, Azure Policy, and secure DevOps practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills
• Complete Microsoft stack experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or GitHub Advanced Security certification
• Experience with disaster recovery automation and environment rollback
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in CI/CD workflows
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (004)
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional — Advanced
• GitHub Actions Certification (GH‑200)
• GitHub Administration Certification (GH‑100)

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($60.00-65.00), during the contract period. Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
