Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: North Rhine-Westphalia | Hybrid

Our client is driving a major European data and AI transformation, building a next-generation engineering platform. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll design and maintain scalable, automated infrastructure that powers analytics and AI across multiple locations. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on impact, not support.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and automate infrastructure for data workloads.
• Integrate ML models into production with Data Scientists and Product Owners.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and DevOps best practices.
• Enhance platform scalability and reliability through automation.
• Support cloud-native environment modernisation (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Contribute to cross-team platform engineering initiatives.

Ideal Profile:

• Strong DevOps experience with Python coding skills.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Interest or experience in MLOps.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator.
• Problem-solver who thrives in complex, scalable environments.
• Fluent German and English.

Nice to Have:

• AWS infrastructure & automation.
• GitHub Actions pipelines & CI/CD.
• MLOps experience or interest.
