We’re looking for a Tech Lead to join our expert development team with advanced Adobe Commerce backend development experience, and a track record of leading a team within a fast paced, agile agency environment.


This is a full-time, permanent role offering a choice of hybrid working from our Bristol office, or fully remote from anywhere in the UK.

The Opportunity


As Technical Lead, you will drive Adobe Commerce project execution, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. You'll maintain coding standards, security practices, and documentation with code reviews and performance tuning. You'll collaborate with architects on solution design and technical strategy, and delivery and strategy teams on client requirements.

You will utilise your leadership experience by mentoring others, leading by example, and taking real pride in helping others succeed. What You'll Need to Succeed


  • Extensive full-stack web development and delivery experience, including hands-on implementation of Adobe Commerce & Adobe Experience Manager solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead development teams through full project lifecycle.
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento) & AEM.
  • Cross-platform Adobe ecosystem understanding (such as Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, Launch).
  • Technical leadership & mentorship experience.
  • Collaboration & stakeholder management with cross-functional internal teams, and clients, managing technical priorities whilst balancing speed, quality and scope.
  • Proven experience in agile/scrum, agency environments.
  • Commitment to code quality and performance optimization.
  • Cloud, DevOps, and Integration experience (modern deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud environs (eg AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), integrating with APIs, Headless CMS, Microservers).
  • Security & accessibility awareness (web security best practices - XSS, CSRF, OWASP Top 10, and accessibility standards - WCAG 2.1).
  • Analytical & Client facing communication skills.
  • Eager to stay current with evolving Adobe features, AI-assisted developments, and industry best practice to drive innovation in digital experience delivery.
  • Technical based Adobe certifications are desirable, but not essential.
  • UK based, comfortable working remotely or hybrid from our Bristol office.
  • A permanent UK resident, with right to work in the UK - if this does not apply, your application will be automatically rejected.
