This is your chance to join a fast-growing, founder-led product company as a Senior Backend Engineer. You’ll be building out their in-house Remote Game Server platform — the backbone of their future product and infrastructure strategy. From API communication to compliance at scale, from game logic to distributed systems, your work will have a direct, visible impact.
This is a role for engineers who want a mix of technical challenge, product impact, and ownership. You’ll join a small, growing backend team (set to double by 2027) where autonomy and responsibility come as standard.
Must have:
- Strong Golang backend engineering experience (3+ years in production)
- Solid experience with Docker, Redis, MongoDB, REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud-native tools (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Clean code principles, design patterns, scalable architectures
- Excellent communication, self-organisation, and ability to thrive in a remote-first setup
- Fluent German (C1) + good English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Java or Kotlin
- Background in regulated environments (FinTech, iGaming, etc.)
- Product-minded approach — you care about outcomes, not just code
