QA/Dev Support

This Game Studio is looking for a talented person to join our Development Support team. If you have a passion for games and a desire to work in a truly cross-functional, small studio environment - we would love to hear from you!

This is a fully remote contract position in BC.

Responsibilities

• Providing support for development team in an embedded setting
• Writing and Updating Test Cases
• Creating and Managing QA Documentation and Reports
• Working closely with an external QA team
• Conducting the following types of testing (Ad-hoc, Regression, Verification, Network, Daily Smoke Tests, Early Feature)
• Submitting bug reports

Qualifications

• You are a master multi-tasker
• You are organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
• You work well both independently and in a team-based environment
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills
• You are observational, analytical and an excellent troubleshooter
• Must reside in BC and be qualified to work in Canada

Experience

• Experience working in an agile or hybrid-agile fast paced environment
• Experience with tools such as Google Suite, Notion, Git Hub, Git Hub Projects and Slack
• Experience with testing on iOS, Android
• Experience with testing within Unity
• 2+ years of experiencing testing games in a professional capacity or equivalent schooling mobile testing experience is an asset.
