Sr. Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS)

We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). GeBBS Consulting has over two decades of experience supporting healthcare clients throughout the US.

We are currently hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS) to support one of our largest healthcare payer partners.

Summary: Our client is looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS) to work with various cross-functional teams in containerizing applications in Kubernetes and migrating them to AWS.

Location: Remote, candidates MUST reside in DC, MD, VA, DE, PA, NC, or NJ, and be able to commit to an in-person 2nd round interview.

Need to Close:

• AWS Certified Developer AND Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• 8+ years of experience in full stack development in Java Spring, and React or Angular
• AWS cloud development experience
• Experience containerizing applications in Kubernetes
• Experience with connecting with database technologies SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS cloud, etc.

Nice to have:

• Healthcare industry experience
